How often should I retie my locs?
Most clients retie every 4 to 6 weeks. Growth beyond seven weeks takes longer to interlock cleanly, so it is booked as a longer Over 7 Weeks retie ($230 at 7 weeks, plus $30 for each extra week).
How much is a loc retie in Laurel, MD?
A standard retie is $200. Night reties between 6pm and 4am are $260, reties after more than seven weeks of growth are $230 plus $30 for each extra week, and a Retie & Detox is $260.
Can I book a retie late at night or early in the morning?
Yes. Our retie calendar is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Appointments between 6pm and 4am are booked as Night Reties.
Is a retie the same as a retwist?
People use both words for root maintenance. For microlocs and Sisterlocks we maintain new growth by interlocking at the root, which keeps the grid neat without styling product.
Does a retie include a wash or styling?
No. A standard retie covers root maintenance only. Add a wash and deep cleanse with Retie & Detox, or book a shampoo, detox and steam service, or Locs Styling from $50.
My locs were installed somewhere else. Can I book a retie?
Yes. Your first visit is the Transfer Client appointment ($230), which combines an in-person consultation and your first retie. After that you book regular reties.
What if my locs are thinning or breaking?
Book a $30 Loc Repair Consultation first. We assess the damage and quote the repair before any work, then schedule it with or after your retie.
